Imaging Equipment Service Director for the Chicago, IL Area

Due to our growth, ARAMARK Healthcare-Clinical Technology Services is seeking an Imaging Equipment Service Directort for our Provena multi-facility system in the Chicago,IL area
 
 The Imaging Service Director will manage, support and direct the day-to-day maintenance, revision, and issue resolution for the Imaging Services team. The position will report to the Healthcare System Director of Clinical Engineering and provides strategic planning and management of Imaging Service Engineers. The equipment scope includes Cath Labs, MRI, CT, CR, DR, Flouro, Portables, Ultrasound, PACS and NucMed for a major Healthcare System in the Chicagoland area with a total of 6 hospitals and 8 to 10 Imaging Service Engineers.  
 
In addition to the Imaging Services oversight and support services, the individual will provide direct customer interface, advice, and support to clinical managers. This will include capital planning, technology reviews, service updates, PACS planning/integration as well as Imaging inventory and service history data. This support also includes direct interface with Physicians and Executives and is a critical component to patient care in the facility.
 
Qualifications
 
Minimum Qualification Requirements
 
·         Bachelors Degree preferred
          8 years of progressive experience in related Imaging/Radiology Equipment Services
·         Minimum 4 years of direct Management experience as a Multi-vendor Imaging Service 
          Manager; d
irect OEM experience is preferred
·         Knowledge of Microsoft office suite (Detail in Excel) and Crystal Reporting software
·         CCE, CRES (or equivalent) certifications preferred
  • Clinical Equipment Service Business Acumen  - Knowledge of effective alternative cost saving strategies, controlling outside vendor costs, refinement and reduction of personnel expenses including overtime, and revenue maximization through managing/capturing all out of contract fees and charges.
  • Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Management of Personnel Resources - Motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
