Job Description:

Conduct and administer fiscal operations, including accounting, planning budgets, authorizing expenditures, and coordinating financial reporting.

•          Consult with medical, and business groups to discuss service problems, respond to
           facilities needs, enhance public relations, coordinate activities and plans, and promote CTS
           programs.

•          Develop and implement organizational policies and procedures for the facility or medical
           unit.

•          Develop and maintain computerized record management systems to store and process
           data such as personnel activities and information, and to produce reports.

•          Develop instructional materials and conduct in-service educational programs.

•          Direct or conduct recruitment, hiring and training of personnel.

•          Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of technical, clerical, service, maintenance,
           and other personnel.

•          Establish objectives and evaluative or operational criteria for units they manage.

•          Establish work schedules and assignments for staff, according to workload, space and
           equipment availability.

•          Inspect facilities and recommend building or equipment modifications to ensure emergency
           readiness and compliance to access, and safety.

•          Maintain awareness of advances in medicine, computerized diagnostic and treatment
           equipment, data processing technology, government regulations and financing options.

•          Maintain communication between governing boards, medical staff, and department heads
           by attending board meetings and coordinating interdepartmental functioning.

•          Manage change in integrated health care delivery systems, such as work restructuring,
           technological innovations, and shifts in the focus of care.

•          Monitor the use of diagnostic services, inpatient beds, facilities, and staff to ensure effective
           use of resources and assess the need for additional staff, equipment, and services.

•          Prepare activity reports to inform management of the status and implementation plans of
           programs, services, and quality initiatives.

•             Review and analyze facility activities and data to aid planning and cash and risk management
              and to improve service utilization.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors Degree preferred in Biomedical technology or related field (or equivalent in work experience)

•          Minimum of 5 to 7 years CE Management of a large Hospital facility or system preferred

•          Working familiarity with JCAHO accreditation standards required

•                                     Union shop experience preferred

            quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

•           English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language
            including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

•           Personnel and Human Resources - Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel
            recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation,
            and personnel information systems.

•           Economics and Accounting - Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and
            practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.

            documents.
